This error most likely means that you're missing a library, but you're Googling the wrong part of the output. If you look a little closer at the message, you should find a file or library that was not found. That's what you should be looking for.

I was running errands this afternoon and came up with a very interesting hypothetical scenario. It could never happen in real life, but the way you respond to it can say alot about who you are as a coder and as a person in general. There's no right or wrong way to answer it. I originally intended to post this question to HN, but I couldn't find the perfect way to ask in under 80 characters, so I figured I'd ask here on my blog instead:

This happened to me on my VirtualBox VM running an upgraded version of Linux Mint 17.2 with Cinnamon. After logging into your Cinnamon DE, you get a black screen and a mouse pointer. Nothing else. After some trial and error with loading and reloading several modules, it turns out that my default DE had been changed after the upgrade. This was easy enough to fix.

Actually, you technically are a Django developer now! Hopefully you found the framework interesting, and if you weren’t able to fully grasp the concept, dont worry, the fact that you’re here doing some further research on it is a great move. So… where do you go from here? Well, luckily, there are plenty of paths you can take.
